The President's Office Leland Stanford University
Dear Sir: I recently arrived in Palo Alto from Fresno, Cal., where I was an active member of the Central California Stanford Club, composed of about thirty-five alumni and ex-Stanford students. I have been asked by them to represent the said club in the funeral cortege at the services over the body of the late Mrs. Jane L. Stanford. Fearing that the notice from the president's office may not reach the club in Fresno, I take the liberty of informing you of their choice.
Yours sincerely, Graham H. Beebe ex - '04
