not expected that Mrs. Stanford would rouse enough to call in outside parties, but her groans called others, & the plan was frustrated. It was expected to take possession of the jewels etc.

of one who is horrified at the murder of so good a woman, & shocked at your effort to shield the gulity. If you do not do Mrs. Stanford justice & see that the murderer is punished, your own punishment will come, sooner or later, in the next world if not in this.
