which it now stands and all attached to it to the grounds of the "Lathrop Memorial Home" which joins it as the "Memorial Home" requires more space surrounding it and more play ground for the children who occupy the Memorial Home. It is my intention, if spared, as soon as practicable to secure if possible the same amount of ground on the other or lower side of the "Home" and add it to the ground of the "Memorial Home," that there may be about the same amount of ground on both sides of the building named "Memorial Home." If I am not spared to carry out this my desire, I now autherize my aforesaid executors of this my last Will and Testament to execute and carry out this desire, and to deed the same to the Officers of the Albany Protestant Orphan Asylum to whom I gave the "Lathrop Memorial Home" also funds for the support of same. I wish my executors to pay all cost for adding and restoring the grounds to order, and place an iron fence on the Washington Avenue side of the property.

interest that would otherwise have gone to such person by devise or inheritance shall pass under the residuary clause of the said will or to devisees substituted thereof.
As this will is executed in triplicate, I hereby declare that if I ever revoke the same (which at the present time, I have no intention of doing) such revocation will only be deemed to be made by a written revocation or by all the triplicates being destroyed.
I wish thus publicly to acknowledge my great grattitude to an all wise loving Heavenly Father for His sustaining grace through the past six 7 years of bereavment, trials and disappointments. In all I have leaned hard on this great Comforter and found peace and rest. I have no doubt about a future life beyond this; A fair land where no more tears will be shed and no more partings had.
To this my last will and testament written in triplicate I have on this 31st day of May 1899 in the City and County of San Francisco,
