This Indenture made this thirteenth day of November

S Barker of the County of Placer and State of California
party of the first part and N H Karshner
of the same place party
of the second part
Witnesseth: that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of One hundred and twenty five dollars

to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part the
receipt where of is hereby acknowledged has itemised unleased quit
claimed
and by these presents does hereby itemized unlease and forever
quit claim
unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain
lot piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Placer
and State of California and known and designated as the South half of the
South Half of the South East quarter of section

six east mount diablo base and meridian
containing forty acres according to the United
States Survery
