Central Pacific Rail Road. 54 William Street, New York. The Central Pacific RR. has not been overflowed. The California Pacific RR (commonly know here as the [Valley? Village?] RR) overflowed near Dainsville - But owing to cool weather the Sacramento river did not rise as high, by several feet, as usual at flood times. Mark Hopkins |
