Crocker and we were all agreed as to
the man who ought to be our next
Senator. I presume you know who
he is and I would like to hear from
you in reference to it. What California
wants now is a man who
is not only wise in counsel but
is able to stand on his feet in
the United States Senate and let the
wants of our State be known and I
every way guard and protect its
