Hon Leland Stanford,
Dear Sir:
While in Japan I made the selection and classification of the Japanese Curios for your son's museum and would call your attention to a magnificent bronze centerpiece pronounced by experts to be the finest bronze ever made in Japan. It would be very appropriate for the center of a museum, Art Gallery or large hall.
I have opened the Bronze at room 22; 220 Sutter St. for the inspection of only three or four people before taking it to Boston.
If Mrs. Stanford and yourself would appoint a time to look at it I would be pleased to show it.
Yours Respectfully
Fred H. [Deukin?]
