While the country is now largely provided with able
institutions for teaching natural science, either have
science or science applied to civil, mining and much
engineering and the like, there is absolutely no [?]
in the United States which attempts to give full, complete
and thorough instruction in all those matters which
make up the Science of Politics- those matters which
it is assessed by our theory of government ; every intelligent
American citizen should know.
Is there not an opportunity for the remedy [?]
furnished through the institution which you could
founding?
Should you desire, I will more fully explain my
suggestion- the scope and operation of the plan, at your
convenience.
I am very Respectfully + Sincerely [?]
John Norton Pomeroy
