I must write & thank you for your kindness & hospitality which gave our party such great pleasure yesterday. We enjoyed so much seeing your beautiful ranch & several of your famous horses & were deeply interested in the magnificent university which you are building for your country.

the greatest work I should imagine that any single man has ever undertaken for the benefit of others. We much appreciated all your kindness in providing so sumptuous a lunch and regret only we were unable owing to your absence to offer you our thanks in person. With my compliments
