Gentlemen:

The Central Pacific Railroad Company will donate Twenty acres of land fronting on the R. R. in the N. W. Quarter of Section Eleven (11) Township 19. N. R. 19 East Mount Diablo Base & Meridian U. S. Survey, upon which to locate, construct & maintain a State University if the Board of Regents see fit to accept the same for that purpose, and on notification of the acceptance of said land as above stated by said "Board" the C. P. R. R. Co. will cause to be executed a deed of conveyance of the same - a donation, free of all charges - to the proper party designated to receive it. The Company will also add thereto Five hundred
