to the Eastern boundary of Arizona is as favorable for a Railroad as that of the Humboldt. We ought to be moving on the S. P. three miles a day until we meet Scott or have gone as far east as desirable for security. Can't we brase ourselves up with our old spirit and be equal to the occasion. If we are true to ourselves, I believe we can wrestle successfully with Scott and Gould both. Let us believe that we can and determine that we will, and the fight will be ours.
