As you have your own
car to be hitched on at your
desire the hour for the
return by rail is not of
much consequence.

I sent Leland Lathrop
to keep you company. I
feared you would meet
no one to interest you
and that you would
soon exhaust your surroundings,

Next Saturday there is
to be a meeting of the board
of [tracks?] at which I am
expected. I ought to attend
it, or I would go up to Vina
this week and from there
pay you a visit. Hoping to
hear that you are able to sleep well. I remain
