As to Mr. McFarlane’s claim, - I
know nothing about it. The expenses
of that suit should be borne by the
Pacific Improvement Co. as I believe
it now holds the stock which I bought
on its account.

As to the bill of Mrs. J.P. Mighell,
— you may cause it to be paid if you
think it correct.
