My Dear Governor

I herewith enclose a note merely to show you that I have not forgotten your request. If I cannot obtain a printed copy of the [Lewis?] Library act of incorporation & trust I will detail one of my clerks to go there & copy it in Manuscript.

My good friend Mr Andrew Carnegie was here just now admiring the collection I selected for you and desires me to convey to you & Mrs Stanford his respects

Believe me with high regard

Sincerely yours
