Dear Mother and Daddy,

This hasn't even a very nice week and I've found it almost impossible to study. I can't seem to keep my mind on any of my studies even though I have spent quite a bit of time at the library. As you had anticipated, Bob wrote me a letter telling me that we had better go out with each other for quite some time and broke all the dates he had with me for the future. Of course that upset me quite a bit and I wrote him a letter but I haven't heard anything from him. school of business and worked for a year in Panama with an oil firm. He holds some kind of track championship and has a scar on his cheek. We had a very interesting talk with him and he walked me home. I may never go out with him, but I was glad to be able to talk with some fairly strange boy, because I didn't think I could, but now I know that I can. It seems so long since I have. Things seem to be a little brighter on the whole. I'm planning to spend all tomorrow at the library and I think I will be able to get quite a bit done. I have a test in both Political Science and Psychology next week; I hope I'll do all right.

Love to all, Mary
