Dear Mother and Daddy,

This is to let you know that I will be home next Wednesday night. I'm coming on the Daylight; so I will be arriving at the Glendale station at a quarter of six. I don't know whether I should take Wednesday off from my classes, but I want to see Marlborough's senoir night and I don't want to come home on the coach by myself. We are going to play another game on December 1st, and this time I know that we'll win. After the game three houses on the row had open houses and I went to dinner with Bob and Kay and Bill. That night we went to the "Gaities" which is the regular review that they have every year. It was absolutely wonderful. The play, all the songs, and dances

were written by Stanford students. It was like a musical comedy and to me it seemed almost professional.

Anyway it was extremely entertaining and it certainly didn't drag like most student shows do. I'm certainly lucky to be going to such a wonder ful school, instead of some dump like U.C.L.A.

I must go and practice now. I shall be seeing you on Wednesday.

Love to all, Mary
