TTY1 Doubles Characters RB[?]

0130 8 Jan. 68 Pt. 3 of instruction test loops at 4041 when 2H is on +15 margins with about +17V. This is too close for comfort but how can 6205 margins affect protect and relocate. Diagnostic claims a CAM 6000 should have caused mem. prot. interupt It got interupt but no ILL OP flag. SRR

At the suggestion of SM we have installed [Scotchlite?] on DTA1 & DTA2. Tests on 1 static tape indicate that it is a considerable help in making static tapes wim

If you have static problems try DTA1 or DTA 2. Please log results.

1740 Replaced 6205 in 2HJ17 with a 0615 Machine didn't work AT ALL! Replaced it with a 6205 2%-15 margins now -3 1/2, +5. Machine appears to work

Re-read error on disk. The left half of the second word of the third sector of a 40K transfer was spread throughout all subsequent halfwords of the sector. Error happened on write.
