0115 14 Jan 68 Survey of the disk now shows: TEMP=90½° F Rose to 90° F at 1700 14 Jan 68. Stopped there until ~1930 and then gradually rose until it got to 90½° F by 2030. Steady since then.

In trying to switch to band 131 found that one of the indicators was out (low order bit of band register). This would not affect the above results. Lamp was replaced on the spot. The MTBF of the above errors was a few seconds. Band 131 seems much better. No errors in the ten minutes of run. I will put the system in read-

1540 15 Jan 68 Found TTY 4 printing "B" sometimes when "C" key is pushed. Played a short while trying to find bug. Bug went away and now there are no errors. Magic! Ted Panofsky
