can hardly wait to get in here & start knocking
out walls. The place should look pretty
ghastly for a year or so, since we're going to
keep furniture at a minimum & not paint
the grubby walls until we're through. There's
no sense covering new furniture & paint with
chipped plaster.

As soon as She washes up, I'm going to give her a
trial run in her stroller. If she'll agree, she
should be able to sit comfortably between bath
towels, like she does in her car seat. I hope
it works, because we're going downtown pretty
soon, to hit a big sale. If she can sit in
her stroller, it will be a big load off my back.

Today, I got a cute picture of her on her
bathinette. If it turns out as good as it looks,
I'll mail a print to the Goldings. I can hear
her in there grunting now. It's time for her
vegetable. She's playing with the dong-dong that
Alice sent. The guy who designed that really
knew babies.

Love, Marcia
