furniture. The boys won't even know the
place, especially since I washed all their
filthy rugs & towels.

Ann & her fiancee leave at 8 a.m. every
morning. He picks her up & delivers her every
nite around midnite. It's a great arrangement.
I have the kitchen all to myself. The
fellow who I used to cook dinner for at the
house when his mother was out of town now
comes up to the apt. & I cook for him up
there. It isn't like when his mother cooks
for us, but I'm learning. Tonite I had
veal cutlets (Ritz crackers for lack of bread
crumbs) & he was really great about eating
them. He insists on potatoes & gravy
& I'm finally beginning to get the hang of
pan gravy. It's really neat, buying my
own groceries. I eat tons of meat, bacon
& eggs.

The swimming pool is right outside the
door & down a flight of steps to the court,
so if I can find time, I may even get a tan.
John left a lot of Road & Track magazines
around, so I've been eating those up. Tomorrow
I'll begin writing my papers.
