understand Daddy, why we did
not accept the car. It's just too
big a gift and we really don't need
it. We do appreciate your generosity,
but you've done so many other
things that we would feel much better
if you would realize the balance of
your investment in it yourself,
& apply it to your own financial
situation.

The weather up here has really
turned freezing. Pooh is really
making good use of her car coat on
these cold mornings. Jim scrapes
ice off of the windshields every
morning. Things will probably
warm up when it finally decides
to rain.

Got your letter today. Sorry I didn't
get this off earlier, but we've been
busy catching up, at home & at
work. I didn't get home until
almost 9:00 tonite.
