of my friends seem to be in any
of my classes. Mr. Derby, a senior,
may take Hygiene 4. There are very
few freshmen in the hall this
semester and so there will not
be much hazing. I am glad of this
for it is sometimes carried too
far, but brutal hazing is almost
unknown at Stanford. I only saw
one instance when I was a soph., and
then some half dozen of us took
the freshman's part and put a
stop to it. We juniors feel it
our duty to see that the sophs.
