You will carry out the following instructions to the letter.
1. You will equip yourself with two penholders and points, a bottle
of green ink, and two pads of theme paper.
2. You will not ride in cars, enter the Cellar, the Post Office, or
similar places.
3. You will rise immediately when a member enters the room, and remain
standing still until told to be seated.
4. You will be in your room at all times except when in class.
You will observe this with particular care.
5. You will communicate with absolutely no one except Bob Marble,
Norman LIvermore, and Page Edwards, either in the House or on
the Quad. In class you may speak when called on.
6. You will go directly to your room when you come into the House.
You will not come down to the dining room until the second bell
has rung.
7. Commit to memory before Friday afternoon:

The Chapter Roll
The History of the Cardinal Club
The life of Samuel Bells
The history of the Fraternity
Famous members of the Fraternity and their accomplishments
Read and Know thoroughly the Introductory Chapter in Baird's
Manual

8. Provide Yourself with one oak paddle.
