1935 Sat. up at 7:30 work all day w rain.
Plenty of work for tonight but went to a show
instead. Miss Joe to beat the devil. Called Fred but
he was out. Turned in about 1, after a show [riding] etc.

January 12
1931. Mon. Hank & I went on an illegal rushing
party with Sal H & the K.A.s Had a swell
time with the fellows playing bridge
and [gossiping]. It's just like swiping [senterellas]

January 12
1932. Tues Rained all day. Called or fell snow in "Skyline."
Have to go up tomorrow. Did lots of work today, 3 class, 1 week
history, hair cut, wrestling, 20 pag[] [Pli. Sei.]
[glot] so bad. Turning in at 11.

January 12
1933 Thurs. Cass broke again today. But after lots
of work we finally got 2 Shops & 7 frosh. Not much
in quantity by fair in quality. Prospects for two more
[] pledging tomorrow. Hope everything remains O.K. Turning in at 11:30

January 12
1934. Fri. Class & tried to rain this A.M. Studied som
this P.M. Went on a ride with Louise. Woman's pledging
tonight. Show up at [Pi symbol] & slight tight for their celebration
after taking a swell class. After pledge ceremony Louise & I
left for all at [sinville] at 2:15 arrived awfully tired & sleepy
3:45 -- turned in. -- Ok -- I was appointed chairman
of Sen. class p[] Com. -- Starter for Presy Maybe.

January 13
1935. Sun. Up at 9. Studied till 3. Went to
see Fred asfter writing [] the folks, we went to
[ auts s willed] at his home til 9. Turned
in about 10:30. Starting to rain again.

January 13
1931. Tues. The alarm didn't go off and as a
result I was late to my 8 o'clock.
It rained all day today.

January 13
1932 Wed. Class this morning. This afrternoon Dick M.
Fred talbets, Kelly Thorp and I went to [snow] on "Skyline." Had
a swell time all afternoon. Snow falling sliding etc. Had a
snow fight with Betas on Campus. Fred, [Bach] & I spent the whole evening getting dates for [cit a] night.

January 13
1933. Fri. Finally ended up [strenuous] working period
by losing onoe of [fresh & fresh ] 2 sophs went to "mark"
for pledge [lunse]. Awful mob up there but
had a good time took Louise. Turned in at 3. Pooped.

January 13
1934. Sat. Up at 10 -- Went up on Hecker after lunch
at Mr. Watters. Louise slept all afternoon while I
read a book. Margaret H., Louise and I at dinner. Louise studied.
Just finished book & turned in at 10:30 - awfully cold. Part
of the night the rest was [hysel] - I hope everything turns
out O.K.
