January 26 1930 Sat. up at 8 rode around with Joe then worked from 4 to 11. Pretty tired
1931. Mon. Another school day!! Got a D- in an American Lit. theme with the note spelling inexcusable! makes me feel like a [?] 1932 Tues. Got up at 9:31. Classes this morning. finished this week even today

JANUARY 28 1935 Mon up at 7:30 fooled around while ??? tonight well. went up to kitchen tonight to eat + sleep. Came to town to see show. Joe's Pal arrived later. Turned in at 12 -- all tired. after a good day. 1931, Wed. Study! Study!! that is about all I can see in college right now. Didn't even have time to write Larry today. 1932 Thurs. Wresling WORKOUT this afternoon two even tomorrow and sturided tonight can't get the exam thru my head so I'm turning in at 11. 1933 Sat. Slept late this morning. straghtened out disgusted with Louise this afternoon.

January 30 1935 Wed. at work at 7. kept me bring on the devil & elicited this P.M. & tonight then rode all over the Country turned in at 2:30 pooped & full of Beer. Full lessons as the devil the [Dr?]. 1931 Fri. Went to Party to see a show with a kick bu got stung. Would have done better to have stayed on the campus and run the Dramatic Club show "Wings over Quone." 1932 Sat. Worked this afternoon. Tonght I took "Jackie" to a show then the depression dance. Got in about 1 A.M. That's all. Jackie is a good girl. Rains as usual. 1933 Mon. 3 classes. 1 hr study this morning. Studied all afternoon. House meeting & upper class meeting tonight. Two enis tomorrow. [Dr?] a slight shower today. Turning in at 12. 1934 2 classes this A.M. got haircut, shopped, & visited William in Rent House this morning. Studied liru a little this P.M. urgent house meeting heard baked to keep [Dr?] away - fooled around the rest of the afternoon. House meeting tonight [Dr?] then went for a ride with [Dr?] in at 10:45 feel better but still slightly unusual.

[page break] FEBRUARY 1 19 [written] 35 Fri. up at 8. lid me soliciting with little luck this A.M. This afternoon went to L.A. & [San Lorys?]. She gets married Thurs. Met Fred tonight went to show with him & Dion. Then Fred & I drove to Ventura arrived at 1:30 Windy as the devil.
[printed] 19 [written] 31. Sun. I spent all day typing my Myths 14 pages of them-. A good days work! Went to bed a 8 P.M with a good head ache!
[printed] 19 [written] 32. Mon. Classes this morning. Fred. [Tibbets?] & I wet to more snow in sky fire. Fred nearly broke his leg on dizzled. Hes a bad knee as a result. had a good time though House meeting per usual. Wrote a theme tonight. I [illegible] in at 11.
[printed] 19[written] 33 Wed. Four class this morning. Then got sick as Hell. spent rest of day in bed. Running before & behind. here was sick. Something I ate I guess.
