a lot more insecure for him because he doesn't know me at all
(whereas you know Mac quite well) and doesnt know how much I love
you. He was apparently from hat little she said a little apprehensive
and hoped that Mac wouldnt find this stranges to attractive. I
suggested that she tell him more fo what Ive told you about how
our traveling together makes each of us less lonely makes it almost
like having you and Bob along gives each of us a chance to
talk about our love etc. I'm sure he will calm down gradually
for there is a good chance he'll be hearing more about me as her
traveling partner and at the same time find that she still loves
him (almost as much as I love you).

In the situation with Mary Jeanette here is looking up. Mac told
her today that I know the situation (which M.J.E didn't mind) and
so now she can be relaxed a little more forward one more person.
Also since I'm staying here this weekend no big trip and
since there was a great shortage of boys to escort girls to the
Ball of Nations in Stuttgart Sat. evening. I've asked Mary
Jeanette to go with me to it. It's a good chance to meet more
German students through its 6.50 per person dutch treat is
a lot to pay! and I hope also to give her a nice time. this
is one of the nice things about being in love with you darling;

lead along such lines. And its wonderful too to know so
surely that you are in favor of such activities and don't have
