Hi my darling

We yesterday's empty mailbox wasn't the postman's fault I missed a day. Im sorry
sweetheart but now I can reread 2 letters tomorrow not just one. And thus this morning
I love you twice as much (2 x infinity is still infinity!) until my heart is fairly overflowing
with the warm happiness of our love at the same time with the almost tears of our
being part. Anways Im way over my head in love with you and my whole life now and
in the future has you built right into it as you should already know.

The main reason I missed writing was that we had an anthro midterm yesterday
at 8am. I spent Wednesday afternoon writing a 3 page letter to mon and dad and then
figured Id better read KEessing and at least outline the 3 questions which Dr. Spindler
(damn this pen!) gave out on Monday. I got sleepy about 10 pm and so got up at 5:30 to do some
more. Of the 3 questions, he was to assign of and we were to choose and one more; I figured # 1 and
2 were more likely choices, so I didn't work on #3. So you might know that he would assign #3!
I wrote a lousy exam had far too little time to say much of anything. But maybe everyone else
did too. None of us seem to be studying very thoroughly (that is a huge understatement) because
there is so much else to do. We have an Anthro oaoer (5-10 pages analysis of a Beutelsbach family )
due Monday a music midterm Wednsday and a music paper due Thrusdya (4-8 pages concert
writeup) So this weekend and next week will be a little busy! And I've been really suffering in
German too and so must at least start on vocabulary sometime soon. this weekend is stay at home
but next weekend we have a 5 days and MAC and I (if she recovers from the flu which she came down
with Wednesday and which has her really down and sat right now) hope to go to Vienna. The following
weekend we have 4 days and hope to go to the Swiss mountains- Lucerne etc. And the weekend after
that is right before finals and will be a mad scream!

I had planned to write you yesterday night after music class but Bridge chose that time for
driving school for the school's little (8 passenger) bus. If I meet with Dr. Doernes's approval
this weekend I will be one of the official drivers (there are about 10) which means 3 or 4 days a month
running service to the train etc at 4 marks per day. So that killed the morning and you get a large
letter today

I got a very good surprise in my mailbox Wednesday besides your letter the slides from my
first roll of film. Bamberg Nurmburg and some of Rome. I have another roll coming soon which
is Rome Florence Lugano etc (the one which may be 1/2 messed up). So anway I spent all of yesterday
afternoon but German class mounting and tilting the slides and late last night went to the
library to see them on the screen. Most of them came out quiet well some are a little underexposed
and I think in the future I can make some improvements. One of the just visible one is
of our train compartment on the way to Rome which was taken with flash- so some experimenting
there may be necessary. Looking at the pictures I wanted so much to have you here since you're
the main reason I'm taking them my dearest love. Come June you'll have to sit for hours
and watch my "Family movies" SO I can take you back to see some of it with me. I'm thinking of
buying a projector here and mailing it home in plenty of time for the summer should be able to save
money on it here.

Last night was a concert by the Slzburg Academic chamber ORchestra at the Lieedechalle to
which about 30 of us went. The roads were quite icy after some rain yesterday and so we found
out at the last minute that the chartered bus couldn't make it up the hill. So
girls got rides in the micrbus etc and boys walked or ran down the hill to meet the
bus at the bottom. We made it to the concert with 5 minutes to spare. It was another
all Mozart evening- The Peague Symphony Piano concerto in G major and C major
symphony in A major. It was all quite good particularly the piano soloist who
