Monday - Evening

Dear Mamma :-

I thought I would wait
until I found out what time
the train left on Thursday
before writing, it is booked
to leave at eight thirty
and if it gets to the city
in time we will come right
over - but you know we would
return on the quarter to twelve
boat and we may not
have time to go to Oakland
until after the game.

Does Grace want to go with
us? If she has no ticket
and wants one I may
be able to get her
one here, if I receive an
answer to this by tomorrow

I am invited Thursday by Mrs. Wharton
to meet Mrs. Camp.

I'm sorry I won't see Daisy
but It's a short time to Christmas.

In Astronomy today We were
talking about the Golden
number & that led to Easter
& Prof [Hersley?] asked if Any
one knew how it was settled.
There was a long silence & finally
I screwed up courage & said
that it was the first Sunday
after the first full moon after the
Vernal Equinox. I remembered
it from your class.

I have got to study now
so good-by until Thursday

Love to Daisy & [Millie?] & Grace -
& tell her to write immediately & post
it in the post box & I'll get it tomorrow (Wednesday)

night.
Ever your loving daughter
Hallie
