My Dear Birdie:-
Our manager has computed his bills for the month which ended on the 25th, and finds that our board bill this month is $12.35, which makes my entire bill $16.85 for the month. I would like for you to send me about $23.00 which will leave me about $6.00 to go to San Francisco and to pay my laundry and a few other incidental expenses during the coming three weeks.

Everything is still going along nicely, I expect that we will get notice of examinations at almost any time now. I only hope that they do not get any for the 12th of the Dec. when I shall be taking a more important examination in San Francisco. During the past four days I have been reviewing on all the notes which I have got in all my reading and find myself in fairly good shape on them. Unless they are exceedingly hard on me, I think I shal pass. However we shall see.
In three and a half weeks I shall be home again. It has been more than three months since
