I found a fine place to board. It is in Palo Alto in a private house. There is so much racket at the dormitory and I heard that their meals were no good, so I thought I could do better in a private house. It is cheaper here also. At the Hall you have to furnish bedding, etc. and the rate is $22.50 a month, while I have a much better room, a fine bed to myself, good family cooking and only have to pay $20.00 a month.
