the ground gets very muddy
and long pools of water
form whenever it rains.

The lake is full and
boating and canoeing are quite
popular. I went up there last
Sunday but all the canoes
were taken. I have just
learned that there is a golf
course here on the
campus which can be used
by anybody. I think I
will bring some clubs up
next quarter as it costs
nothing to play.

I went to the picture
show last night and saw

a poor representation of "Lorna
Doone."

I have not received
any letters for over a week,
however I have not been to
the Post Office for some time.

There has been quite
a stir here over the personal
efforts of Tom [Crwin??] to
stop hazing and I think
he has done a good deal
to stop it. I am sending
you his article in the Dippy.
