Blame the power house
which gives very poor
service here anyway.

I have been so
persistently and continously
engaged that I have had
to apportion out my
leisure moments very
carefully and systematically.
I noted my grades are
lagging terribly; I fear
I will not receive any
"Bs" this quarter and
I am very likely to be
kicked off the "Dippy" any
minute. They are only

keeping me on because the
freshmen on the staff are
giving a banquet next week
which will cost them
about seven dollars apiece
and if I were eliminated
from the struggle it would
cost about a dollar more
apiece.

I just remembered that
I must go to hear the
Tri-State? Debate tonight
and write a brief on it.

I tried out for the
Freshmen debating team
and made it along with
the Southern California High
