Will this letter NEVER END?! Sometimes it seems like it, I must say, but we just keep moving on, so the letter must too I guess. Where did I stop? My birthday I think, so here we are again.

DAY 34 (July 15- Tuesday):

You already know we went into London, I told you that when I finished the last letter that morning. We actually got some sunshine and a conspicuous lack of rain that day - much enjoyed. We had a series of errands to run, the mailing of boxes and such, and we kept saying we were going to the Portrait Gallery, but we never made it that far, but we didn't really care anyway. We wondered our way over to the classy end of town, and [Jules?] gave me [tea?] at the Ritz for my present - incredible! Very different from tea at Harrods (all the pastry you eat) but both great in their own way. Anyway, we then did a lot of [wondering?] - [buying?] new reading material, looking around the Design Center etc. Then we got take away fish and chips (very greasy but a lot of fun) a first for both of us (I've never had the real take-away greasy kind, always served) the second of the day really since we had our first English Baskin Robbins in the morning - good but OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive (60p for 2 scoops or about $1.42 - a treat not indulged in very often - even with the prices here, I don't know how those stores survive at that rate). Anyway,we then walked across the river and saw Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead at the New Vic -- not bad, some good ideas but Guildenstern was off/flat that night (at least I hope that was the problem) so it wasn't as good as it could be. Came back to [Gliveden?] and had some champagne as a final celebration and went to bed LATE!

DAY 35:

Just for good measure we had to get up EARLY to catch our train to Ireland. We arrived in
