Hi Grandma! Time again for a huge post card to try and tell you all...

Sorry, just found this in all my stuff, and figured there was no point in letting the stamp and all go to waste, so I thought I'd write. Things are going well again, I'm all set for the buses and plane tomorrow morning, VERY EARLY and I've been talking to a person from last quarter who is around, also on her way home, and we both feel much better now, it's really uncomfortable to be here when you don't really belong, people (most of them) are friendly but you really aren't a part of it all. It's going to feel really strange to leave here after so long, and I'm really going to miss it, it was just becoming real, like maybe I hadn't been living in a dream after all and now it's almost all over. Oh well, the plane flight doesn't really seem real either. I can't believe that 24 hours from now I'll be in New York--in the United States. Somehow I know it won't just be another city in another country--at least I'll be a tourist in my own country, that's going to make a big difference. I know it sounds crazy to you, it would have to me too until I got back to England and besides the fact that they spoke English, the feeling was so different, and this isn't even my native land, although I've been here so long it does feel like home quite a bit. Oh well, I am looking forward to getting home and staying in one place for awhile, seeing people, resting etc. Take care see you soon (may already b home--bad postal service) I LOVE YOU -Vickie
