DAY 49: Finishing up playing tourist. The rest of the [Tube?], Westminster Abbey and cathedral and the outside of the houses of Parliament then back to Cliveden and time warp and out of place living again - only one [thing?] though, just have to survive and repack and go to the airport Friday morning and all will be well. This is the end for now. The next chapter will come to you from somewhere in the US. BYE!

Surprise!

Didn't think you could get rid of me that easily did you? Well if you did, you were wrong. I keep coming back like a cold in the winter or something..sorry, it's too early for me and my mind isn't functioning. Anyway, all went well with finals, Russell is a [spastic?] grader and totally unpredictable but I managed okay. I suggest you do something about the Dodgers - half game up is not exactly a comfortable margin to say the least, that's your department. I'm a little far away to do much here although I do try. Take care and I'll call around the 20th as planned.

I thought you might enjoy this post card even though I know the news will be close to ancient before you get it .. if we manage to get anything off from New York it will probably arrive ahead of this, but that's life I guess. We're back at Cliveden now after several more days in London, and we're both really exhausted. Jules goes home tomorrow afternoon and I don't leave until the following morning, strange how that worked out. At least I can try to make heads or tails out of my luggage before I go - what a mess! I must be out of my mind! (of course the luggage will beat this post card to you, but that's the difference between the post office (both countries) and Greyhound I guess - inefficiency plus that's their motto. Guess I'll trot off and find Jules and see what's up or not as the case may be. Really not much to say, as you can tell. See you soon. Say hi to everyone.
