（三）"Buy a set of washer & dryer" ---proposed by Chu motion: passed with the following amendment: (a) used set (b) cost not more than $125.00

Matters discussed: (1) Rent of room #3: The rent of room 3 is $75.00 per quarter according to the latest constitutionRules of the Chinese Students' Clubhouse. But according to Treasurer's Record-book, the rent of that room had been $70 per quarter since 1960. There is no way to settle this except voting. So we did. The first voting was a five to five draw.

After discussing for af about fifteen minutes on this matter, a second voting was needed in order to have this problem settled right away. This time it was seven to on in favor of $70 per quarter.

Third Meeting (Spring Quarter): 700 p.m. May 27, 1963

(I) Election of Officer for Summer Qr. 1963 Manager: Candidates: T. C. Soong 5 Elected for manager I. C. Chang 4

Treasurer: Candidates: I. C. Chang 3 T. C. Lee 6 Elected for treasurer

Moved by to set up "social [chairman?]" pos. in the summer:

Candidates: T. F. Shao 4 C. S. Tsai 6 Elected.

(II) Chu moved that house buy a freezer not mo exceed $50.00. Motion passed

(III) M Shao moved that stos house sponsors a stag party in honor of for the two June grooms (James Shiue and H. Y. Yee). Motion

Liou mo amended that the party be changed to a dancing party. Motion passed
