Status: Needs Review

5) I need creature comfort. RX7 has no power windows and Oldsmobile just isn't me. Only reason I put up with Datsun 510 is because its not mine + I know it will be gone soon. I need to have consistent lifestyle + strategy. Would be hard/expensive to trade in 510 later on 280ZX.
6) 280ZX is form + substance. A functionally good car, with sporty fun image.
7) Risk is not that high. Can always sell it for good price since I'm paying not much over cost for it.
8) Pontiac Sunbird is subcompact for the thrifty, "enormously practical." Ugh. Phoenix hatchback 8000-9500, Chev, Cad, Olds are all out, due to cheap, expensive, too stuffy respectively. Ford + Chrysler/Dodge have very poor styling. No power windows on RX7 + not a comfortable interior, but price is 10K. So I would have to pay at least $9K probably, for something close to what I want.
9) No overpowering reasons not to get a 280ZX. I like it. I can afford it. Is the $2000-$3500 savings worth the lack of excitement, especially since only half of that savings is consumed in 3 yrs. Just $50/month for excitement...
10) I want to set up an environment which is me. Which is more suitable: a 280ZX or Phoenix? Don't pimp yourself. I've worked hard. Now I deserve some fun.
11) I've always gone with intuition and it has worked pretty well. 280ZX is intuitive.
12) Experience of 280ZX will be heightened by that of Corvette earlier. Make use of it.
13) Been out a year so well-debugged
14) Competitive dealling with the 280ZX commodity + factory flooding market to build market.
15) Lots of travelling in Southern Cal.
