Very nice sleep. Nice to be out of SF

7:30 -----
Think again about # of days spent in SF each trip.
[pink]Even though NYs '86 was 4 nights + 5 days,
a lot of it was spent zonked in bed due to party + Brian.
So I was anaesthetized due to lack of sleep.
I'm fine if I'm having fun there. Hard by myself.
So if I don't like being there by myself, then I
can't live there, so don't invest time in relationships in SF.
But I feel more at ease in Bay Area, outside of SF.
But that doesn't solve my problem of having friends in
the immediate area in which I want to live.

Go get Chronicle. 50 + 60 today + this weekend + some rain.
Coffee. Call Stanford Library: got Apr 17 Infoworld.

Just took trip to Asia looking for Vanders.
Moving to San Ramon in June, 40 min east.
Small talk. Going to Tahoe tonite.
I invite him to Seattle. Tell ~ ski boat.
Probably went well, and [pink]ok not to see him tonite[/pink].
What would we do, just have dinner?

Now how long to stay?
Go out? No clothes to wear, no pants
Bob L? Not to sleep with: Sun as competition.
Chip K? Feels awkward after all these years.
Hero? But it's in SF, with SF guys.

Nice buffet lunch. Finish looking over Jan Feb Hippocrates.

2:00 [orange]Off to Stanford.[/orange] Buy hooded sweatshirt. Mail cards.

3:00 Latte at Coffee house. Wasn't into coffee before

3:15 Over to [orange]Math/CS Library[/orange]. Organize Infoworld.
Current one is on table ethough.
Read it. Xerox interesting stuff as usual.
[orange]Not a very pretty Library or Bldg.
Afterwards look in at Psych + CS depts. OK.
Philosphy area really sucks though.
Glad I wasn't Math/Philosophy Grad student.[/orange]
Walk a bit, end up at Coffee House again. BEER!
Listen to live music. Was never like this for me.
Walk down to Law School, thru Serra, back to car.
Saw some new things today. Place looks great.
Back to Hyatt, and current REALITY.
