8:15 Get up. Grocery shop.

Call Ferries for times.

Call Dan Donahue.

10:30 Write up yesterday. Misc

10:45 Go to Microsoft to check in stuff.

11:00 Finish up week's work, check in, announce

12:00 Go to Gym. Good Workout.

2:15 Head home. Quick lunch.

Tuna. Ham + bean soup. Pack

3:15 Leave for ferry. Good thing I left early since it was filling up.

Patrick + Gary Harrison show up.

3:45 Sit with them in Cafeteria. Talk.

Gary is pretty aloof, but not dizzy, LA.

Very pretty day. They said they'd be coming up tomorrow to Dan's.

4:30 Start out on my trek North.

If felt sort of odd. This was

1) first trip to Olympics since last summer when I was dating Bill, working hard, and feeling very insecure

2) first weekend after Easter and after having taxes and 1986 finances all settled as well as 1st qu 1987.

3) I wasn't accomplishing something. I had to relax.

But basically I just felt like learning to get into this role again.

Stopped for gas + coffee + spilled it on my crotch so I had to change into shorts which made me feel even more "unusual"

5:00 Drove over hood Canal bridge and started to try to think but it was rather forced, so I didn't get much out of it except to sketch the future and to realize that I need to put together a more coherent plan for 1987 Spring Summer Fall.

At least put together some directions and think about it as specifically as I can to be sure I don't make any obvious mistakes.

6:00 Arrive in Port Angeles and call Dan + ask what to bring to dinner.

He says just rice + bullion. I get wine + Dove bars too.
