10:45 One decision to make is what to do about weightlifting this winter. Should I drop it entirely. The deal is that I like the habit, but I'm so uninspired at the Body + Pumphouse, and there are no other gyms in Seattle. I can decline to 3 times a week in September, and twice a week starting in December or January, but then where does that leave me a year from now?

Or I could drop it entirely for all time, but I'd had being a skinny nerd again.

So the solution is to look to moving to San Francisco to exercise there. But am I sure I want to move to a city with the highest incidence of AIDS cases. If I got it, it could me either special healthy care, or being crowded out of any care.

And would I feel bad leaving Mom + Dad high + dry here. They could survive, but it seems too odd to leave Seattle at this point. I do have roots here and some positive thing like winter recreation, Dan Donahue + Lake Crescent, Meg + kids, Bill Farrell, all of which would hate to see me go.

So I must have 2 homes. One in Seattle and one in SF.

11:15 The only key action item on this for the time being is to not take on mgt responsibility at Microsoft. If it was to happen, it would've by now. And make it clear I'm not interested in managing project (schedules, reviews, presentations to Jeff, etc), don't kid yourself that I'll get accolades in that position when Works is successful. Just do bug fixes and anything else that interests me on Works.

11:30 Other than the above, I should carry on with my plans to budget, make a will, travel on the West Coast, and spend at most 4 days/wk at Microsoft. Nothing more important than making a home now.
