8:30 Call Mom. Say bye to Heidi.
8:45 Go through investment strategy notes. Nothing to do now but put MS stock in Schwab account. And sell it throughout summer. No motivation to short-term trade mutual funds, if ever, till next yr, since LT gains are just taxed at 28% versus ST gains at 38.5%
And look at houses, learn ~ wills. And get info on funds and various newsletters (via Hulbert).
Do yesterdays + today's (already!) mail
9:45 Get ready for gym + go
10:00 Work out. Pretty good. Quicker than usual even given crowds + talking w people like Tom Allen + Pat (aerobics) + Mike Hall
12:15 Go home for lunch.
Read ESPP stuff.
States long-term intent of purchases made by the plan, but I could've gotten around this by selling other shares.
Also wrote note for financial stuff on how I never try to squeeze Microsoft for wealth throughout my whole relationship with company.
1:30 Go to V. Park and read CD-ROM Mag and two issues of Crisis Investing. Casey's into gold shares + commodities and small (very small) Canadian stocks. Pretty unusual. No reference in Hulbert advertisement. We'll see.
3:45 Go home. Put stuff away. Shower. Clean clothes.
4:30 Go to QFC + Bartell's
5:15 Read Comdex Computerworld.
Make + eat dinner.
Finish Computerworld. Dep'tl comp'g.
Skim Merrill Lynch software summary (while doing 2 loads of laundry.)
7:45 Think + dream.
Realize that coding may be done! And now start to work with people. But it could be bumpy + tiring.
Go over MS benefits. No change.
Make to-do list for myself.
8:30 Go for a walk in the park. Very pleasant.
