a 1st class car. That night we were [ca?] to Beaumont Barrakes where we weren’t expected and nobody knew what to do with us. We were given all night passes and slept in [?] very comfortable hotel down town. Some [cadets?] [at?] camp [fed?] us the next day out of charity. Again we slept at the hotel and the night of the 17th we staid at barracks, spending the day in the YMCA that us just being started.
