Dear Dr. Tressider I had three years work at Stanford 1932-5 in order to improve my position in education after havingtrained at [Bellingham?] Normal for 3 years (Wm. State) and taught several years in elementary schools.
However at the age of 35 I desire to change over to some sort of career in exploration of mountain regions - particularly in Arctic or Antarctic. Some years ago I reached this decision. It is going to take some doing to change over. And if Stanford can help me "retool my factory" I should like to know how and should be glad to have any advice you might offer.
