Capt. RL. Garretson Section B. Langley Field, VA

Mr. Donald Tressider Stanford University Stanford, California

Dear Sir:

I was very interested in your lettter for Stanford men and women in the services regarding Stanford’s program for veterans.

For the past year or more I have been planning a return to Stanford to continue my studies in the Law School. I have often wondered what plans had been made along these lines by the University.

I would greatly appreciate any literature and information

along these lines you may now have available for me.

I have conversed with many former Stanford students during my post four years service in the Army Air Corp.

The majority of them have assured me that they also intend to continue their studies as soon as this great struggle is ended.

We are all agreed that a Stanford offering us the same opportunities we enjoyed during our undergraduate years from 1937 to 1941 would be most desireable.

For the past year I have been working as Supervisor of Radar Instructor Training and Supervision in the Radar Program at Langley Field, Virginia. I would appreciate your notifying the Records Bureau of this assignment.

Sincerely Yours, Capt. R.L. Garretson
