(1) Capt. Gilchrist intends I believe to continue work on his PhD after the war (Economics.). Whether he will return to USC or attend some foreign university is undecided

(2) He would probably like to return to Stanford but has not done so heretofore because of the expense. (We have two daughters.)

(3) etc. I don’t know enough about your present situation to offer any further comment. I doubt that my husband does either.
