Dear Sir:

In answer to your questions, I'm afraid I can't answer all of them, for I don't know myself.

If I did return to Stanford it would be as a graduate student in the School of Business Administration. However, things being as they are, I'm afraid the only plans I've made are immediate and of a personal nature. It doesn't pay us to look too far ahead, for we are too much concerned with the present. But, that doesn't mean that we are not aware of the fact that we must face our civilian future someday.

women are going to demand a practical course taught by practical men and women, for I'm afraid that we aer sick and tired of theory. Theory is all right as a background, but it must be kept at a minimum and be used as a basis for practical work only.

Should I return to Stanford I would require housing for my wife as well a myself, although I am not a yet married. I believe this can be said to be true of the majority of returning graduates.

As for extra-curricular activities, I really don't know. Right now I feel that most of use would like to be left alone, but we may feel differently then. Perhaps the war has given many of us this feeling and I'm not sure that it is good. Others may not feel as I do.
