Dear Sir:

I received your March letter, I have read
it through a number of times and each time I
am more pleased and interested in its
contents.

There are many veterans returning to
civilian life now but when the war is over
the number will be many and next to
securing for them a lasting peace, their
education is next important.

They will be given a bonus, there will be
parades, speeches, medals and praises, but
the money will soon be spent and the rest
mostly forgotten. Unless they take advantage
of the educational opportunities which are
offered them they will fall by the wayside,
the young generation growing up will take
their places, and they will become the
forgotten men that were many of the
veterans of the last war.
