Dear President Tresidder,
Hello = greetings from somewhere in France. I just returned from Paris and met Major Warren M.C. also from Stanford U. of last war 1918 - Battle of Old Robb Hall Sequoia Hall and we talked of them & subsequent years to 1921 when I left. How then & soon after peace declared; when former students returned & government "encouraged" veterans came to Stanford to study, their attitude, the interested courses, etc. Perhaps as you no doubt have - you have spoken with men of those days - How Stanford can continue to help scholastically thos interested in their prrofessions to continue the high standards gleaned from army experience as well as civilian problems in general advances.
Specifically - Refresher & Courses in Synopsis forms would be valuable in all courses as 1/2 quarter = 6 weeks spacing would allow.
2
Courses of Geo-politics in your principal alumni centres in San Francisco & Los Angeles, Chicago, New York or even Washington D.C. by men who have so ably served on government these past four WAR years.
Congratulations to you & your staff for the Excellent & superior work you have accomplished according to all reports I have seen on activities on the farm which have been far too few due to changes of address ( I hope you will have checked).
Best wishes for the "Farm's" continued success of service.
Sincerely,
Reuben Ratner ex'21 Capt. M.C. 0-1702804 197th General Hospital APO 513 c/o PM, New York City
