Dr. Tresidder

When military service is over,
I hope to return to California, and
either continue in engineering work
or start a cattle ranch. The latter
seems most attractive, but the
old economic system will be the
determining factor. If I can't make
a ranch pay, I'll have to work in
my profession.

I've been doing involved Technical
work in the Navy, and am acutely
concious that my engineering training
at Stanford in 1925 is not now
adequate. I'd like a year of re-
education - possibly the equivalent
of the 4th year as now given,
minus the parts I still know from
the past, plus enough math to
allow me to complete successfully,
this new course. Housing for
my wife and two babies, with a
fenced yard and a kindergarten
