Thursday 7th One of the horses got away this morning so we did not leave camp till 9. We did not stop until we got to this well, 20 miles from last night's camp. We got here at about ¼ to 2. This well was made when the telegraph line was being put up. It is 70 ft. deep, but there is very little water in it.
